You know most people think of the word weasel as a bad term, but have you ever looked at an actual weasel? Like, a real one?

Oh god I just can’t-

And let’s not forget that the average weasel is also roughly the size of a banana. Because it clearly wasn’t adorable enough already

Weirwoods are considered sacred to the followers of the old gods. The children of the forest are said to have carved faces in the weirwoods during the Dawn Age, before the coming of the First Men across the narrow sea. It is said that through the faces the old gods watch over the followers and bear witness to important events. The greenseers of the children of the forest can see through the eyes of weirwoods. Since trees have no sense of time, the greenseer can see into the past or present when looking through the eyes of a tree.

Eugenia Loli Collages

Eugenia Loli must have a wicked sense of humor because her photo collages crack me up. I can’t quite put my finger on why they’re funny, but maybe it’s the combination of vintage, 1950s imagery with scary, apocalyptic themes. The two very different tones seem to collide in her series of beautifully surreal images. .

Sometimes this really seems to shock people. They appear genuinely upset when I say ‘this conversation is over’ or ‘I’m actually not interested in debating this with you.’ There’s an expectation that if you care about social justice and political issues, you’re always ‘on.’ You’re always ready to debate, you’re always ready to have theoretical discussions about your own lived experiences and the issues you care about, you’re always ready to defend yourself. That’s manifestly ridiculous and unjust, an expectation that’s simply not reasonable.
